The starting image for this October PFCC challenge was one of Richard’s photos taken in Italy of the Pompeii ruins. I’ve added a lot of stock images and overlays from AdobeStock as well as adjustment layers to get the feeling of the actual eruption of Mount Vesuvius with the subsequent ember and ash fall that covered the town. Siri tells me this happened in 79 AD.
